TRANSITION FROM DIRTY ENERGY TO RENEWABLE ENERGY NOW: Climate Deniers Cause Costs, Not Profits: "A stitch in time saves nine..." and "a penny saved is a penny earned"
The New York Times reported (2014) that "UN Says Lag in Confronting Climate Woes Will Be Costly".....about $1 trillion........
This means that waiting to transition from dirty, dead fossil energy to a Renewable Energy Economy will cost us because dirty, dead fossil energy causes catastrophes around the globe daily that easily add up to more than $1 trillion per year....
....but not as costly limiting our definition of "the economy" to cash-flow floods of the oil/gas/coal industries...but not as costly as blinding US to human-caused climate change and not as costly as failing to transition from dirty dead fuels to a Renewable Energy Economy asap....and not as costly as trying to blind US with lies to kill our futures...http://nyti.ms/1asqnEU
Ironically, our human cash system counts the most critical flows for life the least and the least critical the most, the most deadly the most. Most humans define "the economy" as cash-flow counts for goods and services in our privatized, immediate, obvious, everyday world.
We need to count more than the private, the obvious, the short-term of Wall Street, the everyday, linear walls and barriers of a cash-driven chaos.
We need to count public worlds now and generations from now impossible to count in cash....We need to count public worlds of the complex, of civil governments invented to help keep civilization afloat long-term...We need to count complex, public, sharing, long-term public infrastructure foundations that can grow to greatness or that can fall because of those who conspire to destroy public worlds and the innocent.
We need to count nature's amazing but hidden genius far from the obvious impossible to count in mechanical, artificial, obvious terms of human cash coins ....cashflow floods that crush nature's hidden genetic potentials to destroy abilities of nature to produce critical flows such as air, oxygen as O2, water as H2O, topsoil to grow food for humans to breathe, drink, eat........critical flows produced by nature's fragile green watersheds that keep humans alive day to day and minute to minute.
Our nation and world can not afford to limit our counts to private cash of only some private bank accounts of only 1%.
Humans need nature's genius to produce critical flows such as oxygen, water, food to keep humans alive day to day and minute to minute.....but ironically, human cash systems of private, immediate, obvious, everyday paychecks do not count the value of nature.....and destroy nature's productivity and potentials to produce, instead.
Robert Castronovo discoverd in 1997 that nature's genius produces at least 3 times of GDP equivalents....as in human economic GDP of "goods and services" to supply humans with the supplies they need.
In 2003, Castronovo boosted that ratio from 3:1 to 100:1.....enough to "make any financial advisor giddy" (Grist, 2003).
The difference is ironic and puzzling:

Ironically, human cash counts the next most critical and hidden flow for humans, soil the next least, inversely....rich, organic topsoil and soil makers that grow food for humans to eat....even though humans die within months without food.
Why? Can we even use our mechanical, artificial human cash system to account for critical flows that keep humans alive and happy day to day and minute to minute (i.e. it's hard to be "happy" or to "pursue happiness" when dying from lack of O2 or H2O or food.
Why do human cash systems value the private, immediate, obvious, everyday world of structures urban walls and barriers more than life and health?
Do we need to redefine our term "The Economy" to count more than cash, to value the invaluable, the priceless impossible to count in cash? How?
Quantities measure mechanical, artificial numbers of counts defined by definitions dictated by those counting perhaps for a purpose.....and "findings" depends on what is being counted. But what if only the numbers of counts is counted and given meaning? What if we have forgotten what we're counting....so that our counts and numbers and quantities of dollars become meaningless?
Qualities explain definitions, shapes, characteristics, appearances impossible to count in mechanical, artificial terms of human cash......logic and intelligence and legal investigations between actions and reactions, between causes and effects..... between positive causes and positive reactions that grow upwards slowly toward light to produce abundant riches of earth enough for all to share, that many call "blessings"......or links between negative causes and negatives of consequences that suck all down easy, cheap, quick, a "curse"....
Numerous religions warn humans to count more than human cash of egos counting only the private self: Humans need nature's amazing, divine productivity in every seed, seedling, soil to reach up toward light to produce abundance, riches of earth enough for All 100% to share....even with the 1%.
But some just don't get it and choose to limit their counts to only one obvious, privatized, immediate self of only one obvious now. Many have discovered that ego-driven cash economies destroy the ability of nature to produce riches.....or even the critical flows of O2, H2O, soil to keep humans alive day to day and minute to minute.....threatening entire civilizations.
Ironically, human cash counts the least critical flow, deadly structures of bloody diamonds and gold, toxic dirty, dead energy of "clean coal" that is not, propaganda, dirty coal, dirty oil, dirty oil wars, dirty fricken fracken that causes earthquakes, sinkholes and destroys entire continental water aquifers that can't be "cleaned up".....and that will always release methane into our atmosphere, even though methane or "natural gas" that is not or "NG" or CH4 is 25 to 100 times more powerful as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, CO2 or Cx that has already caused deadly and catastrophic global climate change, especially in the Arctic where this conspiracy, propaganda and racketeering has opened up a shipping route for the first time in human history as our common Arctic has melted for the first time in human history......of, by, for privatized corporate dead oil/gas industries to loot the Arctic for petroleum of, by, for privatized cash profiteering for private oil and gas CEOs ...at public taxpayer expense.....destroying their own childrens' futures.
More than 97% of climate scientists agree that human carbon emissions (and other pollutants such as Cx) of the human "Industrial Revolution" have caused carbon levels to skyrocket and hit 400 parts per million in 2013 for the first time in human history....as earth's climate has warmed almost 2 degrees centigrade since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.
We need more than "adaptation" to survive: We need a War on Climate Change and those that Cause Climate Catastrophes: We need immediate divestment from dead fossil fuels to leave dead energies in the ground where they belong. We need immediate investment in a Renewable Energy Economy infrastructure to drastically reduce both quantities and kinds of emissions that are causing global atmospheric temperatures and chaos to increase drastically. James Hansen of NASA has warned that we can afford no more than a 2 degrees centigrade increase in global temperatures (since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution) because otherwise our earth will become a "different planet".......excessive Arctic heating (of more than 4 degrees farenheit, much more than the rest of the globe for the last couple of years causing drastic heating and melting of Greenland and Arctic permafrost, sparking an explosion of methane/CH4/"natural gas"/"NG" from the Arctic just in the last couple of months, melts of glaciers......an influx of fresh water in the north Atlantic causing the Gulf Stream to slow, causing cooling of north Atlantic nations never before seen in human history.....as the "polar vortex" visited so many in the winter of 2013-2014 .....when the Arctic was much warmer in winter than the lower 48 states of the US. Meanwhile global climate change has caused radical and deadly shifts and chaos in major earth systems of lands, climate, oceans, chemical cycles that life and land and earth systems have learned to buffer and protect for eons. But the Anthropocene Era of the last 150 years of human history has crushed nature's ability to recover from the force of the negative, of urban industrialization, of urban sprawl that destroys nature's productivity that any need to grow green watersheds and normal oceans enough to feed the many, to carry the many toward a safer future for all 100% to share....even the 1%.
We need criminal prosecution against those who have and do spend millions, billions of dollars to conspire to block access of the many to transition from dirty, dead energy of the negative, racketeering..... blocking safe and affordable access for All 100% to a safer, more affordable, more positive gift of energy from the sun and wind to harvest a "Renewable Energy Economy" that will pull millions, billions out of poverty...even the 1% in misfortune......and we need a "War on Human Carbon Emissions (and other GHG) that have caused the deadly escalation of carbon levels to 400 parts per million for the first time in human history, threatening the future of humanity.
The strongest, most powerful storm in human history hit the Phillipines late in 2013, Haiyan the most powerful storm in human history ever to hit land in a nation hit frequently by severe storms......most recently in 2012 when the U.N. Ambassador broke into tears to beg our world to stop the madness.
We need more than "adaptation" to the catastrophes caused by humans that will only grow bigger and stronger through time. We need leaders of vision and wisdom who know how to count more than cash to gruide the many toward a safer future.....who have the courage to stand up and speak out and challenge those that are blaming this climate crisis on God. Climate change deniers are wrong, very, very, wrong, wrong scientifically, wrong mathematically, wrong economically, wrong ego-nomically, wrong morally and often wrong legally, rewriting human history and human laws in human books to sell the unacceptable as acceptable of, by, for privatized cash profiteering for only one obvious now.
Humans need nature to grow abundance, riches of earth enough to harvest to find any health, "life, liberty or pursuit of happiness " of any definition.
But some try to sell the unacceptable at public taxpayer expense.....pushing costs onto the many unsuspecting, victimizing the victim, the innocent. That is criminal.
The Rule of Law, equalizing for justice and justifying for equality is not built on metal boxes of inflexible absolutes of only one definition of only one private, immediate, obvious point of view biased.
The Rule of Law based on moral laws of reciprocity depend on nature to produce critical flows enough to fill in hungry voids of the negative, to lift all 100% up to light enough to produce abundance enough for All 100% to share....even with the 1%.
We cannot afford only 1% to rob the 100%....including their own childrens' future.
Prevention pays....and Renewable Energy Pays to lift many out of poverty if we count more than mechanical, empty, toxic numbers of cash-flow floods into secret bank accounts of oil/gas/coal CEOs.
Ironically, though, humans often blind their selves by the hypnotic lure of glittering cash-flow floods that have repeatedly destroyed human civilizations....as cash-flow floods crush and destroy productive, green watersheds that produce O2, H2O, soil, food shelter for humans enough to achieve an accomplished civilization........instead of struggling for survival day to day: Numerous religions warn humans to count more than human cash because counts become empty and meaningless when cash-flow floods destroy the green watersheds that produce enough critical flows to keep humans alive.

Public health counts but private cash-flow of only one private, immediate, obvious now and point of view does not count public health or the whole of a world that works together to produce the critical flows that keep all humans healthy and alive day to day and minute to minute.
Still, some just don't get it.
We cannot limit our analysis to empty numbers manufactured by artificial machines that crush nature's ability to produce the critical flows such as O2, H2O, soil that keep humans alive day to day and minute to minute.
We cannot afford to smother earth's ability to breathe......a function impossible to count in human cash.
