I am sad…. but I am also encouraged by potentials for
growing positive outcomes if we care enough to vote:
My family and I became climate refugees when the Iowa River
invaded my family’s home on the Iowa River in Iowa City, Iowa in 2008.
My camera and I then documented the Clear Creek Watershed
above our house to discover what increases the risks of flooding….and what decreases
the risks of flooding.
I discovered that:

Harsh, impermeable surfaces cause flooding….and
that

Absorbent, green watersheds prevent flooding….[that
green, absorptive, photosynthetic, healthy, native, inalieanble watersheds of
native, absorptive, deep root buffer zones cultivate, protect and produce rich,
organic topsoils and Eden to grow abundance and critical flows for life, O2,
H2O, topsoil production, green, absorbent, productive ecological economics to prevent
costs of flooding…..to prevent destruction of vegetative buffers ….green
habitats, plant systems that prevent extreme costs of flooding, drought,
desertification and tailspins downwards….]

Sometimes we need to reach far beyond the
obvious to discover amazing ironies enough to connect the disconnected,
opposites, the yen and the yang to activate hidden genetic potentials in live,
cell or self or globe inalienable, indivisible for liberty….for life’s hidden
genetic potetnials to grow enough to produce abundant riches to count + to
produce critical but uncountable flows cycles logic synergy productivity of
nature to lift the many up to light of our sun enough to laugh…
Flooding of my home taught me well that human carbon
emissions of industrialization and sprawl have caused exponential global
heating in the last 150 years, the last 35 years when Exxon knew that their dirty
carbon emissions would destroy their own children’s futures and cause 3 to 5 of
the most powerful storms in human history to ever hit land hitting land in the
last 3 to 5 years (Sandy 2012; Haiyan 2012; Winston 2015).
Polar bears are paying the debt now for us. Do we care?
Exxon knew that efforts to reduce carbon emissions might
also reduce private profits for Exxon CEOs then….. so Exxon conspired to blind
us to science of links between actions and outcomes….and needed US President
Ronald Reagan’s Reaganomics to privatize our public worlds, to deregulate our
Rule of Law and to shift explosive costs onto the many unsuspecting to fill
private bank accounts for Exxon CEOs (and other fossil fuel extremists) for 35
years…at our expense.
As a parent, Iearned that every action causes an
outcome….positive actions causing positive outcomes to lift all up to light of
our sun very slowly….slow enough so many don’t see the positive
outcomes…..negative actions causing negative outcomes to suck all down easy,
cheap, quick before we notice the links.
As a parent, I also know that prevention, vision and wisdom
pay…and that I need to count more than mechanical rates of cash that crush
life….to nurture my family’s home and world enough to win. To win
what?
Can we minimize deadly risks to stop causing hell on earth….and
can we harvest free, infinite supplies of Renewable Energy and grow absorbent
green watersheds instead……to maximize positive potentials of life enough to
grow heaven on earth instead?
Can we leave the dinosaurs in the ground to stop causing
hell on earth?
Can we green our cities for smarter more productive cities,
infrastructures, grids to grow heaven on earth instead?
I know we can if we care.

Let US act now to prevent, slow, stop our 6th
extinction please for our kids and families and life and earth to grow
positives now and forever instead…
I know that it is possible to change the course of earth’s
history if we care enough to try….because Americans do care about our future
and….America is made of amazing potentials and kids enough to produce abundant positive
outcomes for the many to share now and generations from now if we can shift now
from our dying cash-driven fossil fuel addictions….to harvest instead the free,
infinite flows of free, infinite Renewable Energy (after initial installation)
+ convert impermeable surfaces to green, absorbent, productive watersheds to
lift all up enough to lower climate carbon levels enough to minimize deadly

just signed a Governor’s Clean Energy Accord weeks earlier to commit Iowa to
shift to clean, renewable energy), the IUB strapping Iowa to our deadly
addictions to a deadly cash-driven dead energy economy that is killing us and
costing us too much?

So why is Cheney still profiting from
Halliburton’s criminal fricken fracken chemical sales… to cash-driven fracking
industries that are causing unnecessary, deadly, criminal earthquakes,
landslides, sinkholes, contamination of entire continental drinking water
aquifers, toxic epidemics caused by Cheney’s Halliburton’s toxics while Cheney

in 2005 legislation that also crushed wetlands in America…..criminalizing those

What are we waiting for?

they own us?
We will not become enslaved to a cash-driven fossil fuel

chemicals….while blocking access of entire communities about the toxicity of

A cash-driven fossilized dead energy industry has seized
almost totalitarian control of my US Congress (Election 2014) of by for
privatized cash profiteering for fossil fuel industries of fewer than only
1%....at my expense, at my children’s expense.

Clint Eastwood proclaimed with humor to the Republican GOP
Convention in 2012 that “We own this nation”……but the cash-driven 1% (fewer
than 0.1%) do not own us….and my US Constitution and ancient moral laws of
reciprocity of most religions reassure me that grassroots win every time
because they grow upwards toward light as a dandelion cracking concrete……and
are the ones that produce enough critical but uncountable flows of by for life
and laughter to consume enough to keep all life functional on earth every time….to
hold our fragile but critical, uncountable web for all life intact.
I value life.

not every house nurtures those within.
Some houses crush and destroy those within. Cash-driven houses crush those within.
Humans need nature’s hidden but critical, uncountable genetic
potentials in tiny seeds and seedlings, genius in every living cell, seed,
seedling, soil, self, whole to reach upwards toward light of our sun enough to
produce abundant riches to count + to produce critical but uncountable flows of

My religion taught me that every living cell, seed,

An Erroneous
Cash-Driven Fossil Fuel Industry Assume Erroneously
To Suck All Down
But repeatedly, a cash-driven tiny few of a cash-driven
fossil fuel industry (now < 1%) assume erroneously, teaching my children
erroneously for the last 35 years that
1) the private obvious self now in private linear walls needs to push
the many down to lift the private self up and 2) that the private self in
private flat walls and barriers needs to take from the many to get for the
private self now and 3) that the private self needs to erect thick dense walls
and barriers and definitions to keep the private self in and the other out to
stay “safe” ….and 4) that privatized cash profiteering justifies all.
But it does not and they are wrong, very, very wrong, wrong
scientifically, wrong mathematically, wrong eco+nomically, wrong eco+logically,
wrong morally and often wrong legally…..though still continuing to try to
rewrite human books of human history, human science, human law to sell the
immoral for private profit for only one obvious now.
So I see that some continue to obstruct my nation’s ability
to reduce climate heating, only a tiny few crushing our ability to keep my
earth livable/inhabitable, I and many become very, very sad.
Those who wrote our US Constitution understood that nature’s
amazing genius in hidden genetic potentials in every living cell, seed,
seedling, soil has the ability to heal a broken world if given safe, affordable
access to nurturing flows do so.
Abraham noticed several thousand years ago that we need to
reach far beyond the obvious, beyond thick, dense urban walls and electric
devices enough to discover that earth does not revolve around one private
immediate self now.

that crush life on earth.
So human cities rise and fall.

Leave the dinosaurs in the ground now to stop causing hell

I believe that the Biblical story of Adam and Eve was/is
actually a parable about the costs and consequences of crushing nature’s
ability to grow heaven on earth. So,
let’s not make that mistake again.
Stop causing hell on earth.
Grow heaven instead.
